About This Place

Located in the heart of Salt Lake City, Ramen Legend is an exceptional Japanese restaurant that masterfully blends ramen, sushi, and bubble tea into one vibrant dining experience. This culinary gem at 2118 Highland Dr #10 invites diners to indulge in a diverse menu where every dish is crafted with care and authenticity.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly their ramen—rich, aromatic bowls that tempt the senses from the very first sip. A standout is the Black Garlic Ramen, boasting a signature pork broth infused with deep, smoky black garlic oil, tender pork char siu, and perfectly seasoned eggs. Equally enticing is the Tonkatsu Ramen, the Tan Tan Ramen, and the adventurous Spicy Curry Ramen, each delivering a harmonious fusion of bold umami flavors and silky, wavy noodles that comfort and excite simultaneously. For plant-based diners, the Vegan Miso Ramen impresses with its deeply satisfying, savory broth, a testament to the kitchen’s versatility and attention to all palates.

Sushi enthusiasts will find themselves enchanted by the artistry and freshness of rolls like the delicate California Roll, the vibrant Red Rock Roll, and the sunny, flavorful Sunshine Roll. Each bite bursts with balanced textures, perfected rice, and vibrant seafood, as praised by customers like Cynthia Vernon-Biggs who admired the exquisite presentation and delicious flavors.

Beyond ramen and sushi, Ramen Legend’s menu surprises with tantalizing appetizers such as Takoyaki, savory Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings, and the crispy yet tender Agedashi Tofu. The Soft Shell Crab Bun and hand-made fried beef dumplings are equally memorable, creating a full circle of tastes and textures that keep guests coming back for more.

Complementing the food offerings is an impressive bubble tea and drink selection designed to delight every sip. From the creamy, rich Brown Sugar Bubble Milk to refreshing fruit-flavored slushies and authentic Japanese Ramune soda, these beverages provide a cooling, sweet counterpoint to the savory dishes. The Taro Smoothie and various milk smoothie options offer a luscious, velvety indulgence that rounds out the meal perfectly.

Desserts like the crispy Ice Cream Tempura and Cheese Cake Tempura each offer a playful twist on traditional sweets, while the Mochi Ice Cream delivers a satisfyingly chewy texture and sweet chill that provides a soothing finale.

My sushi roll was so pretty that I almost didn't want to eat it. But it was delicious.

We stopped by this ramen place after visiting the zoo at night..it was freezing cold, and this was the only “noodles” place open late, so we decided to give it a try. The food was pretty good, but it’s definitely on the pricey side. Ramen in Utah is a bit overpriced in general. The noodles didn’t taste like traditional ramen, more like homemade noodles, but they were still tasty. We also ordered the chili pork dumplings, which weren’t quite what I expected (I thought they’d be similar to the ones from DTF), but they were okay. Overall, it was a nice warm meal on a cold night, just wish the prices were a little more reasonable!

Being down here in Sugar House, it’s so nice having Ramen Legend nearby — it’s walking distance for us and always hits the spot. We stopped in for a quick lunch today and, as usual, everything was perfect. I went with the wonton ramen and added pork — rich, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. My other half had the Sunrise Roll with a side of miso soup, and we finished with hot jasmine tea. Service was friendly and fast, prices are super reasonable, and the food is consistently great every time we visit. Definitely one of our go-to neighborhood favorites whenever we’re in the mood for ramen!
